Perhaps. But remember what Video-Cellar later said about Star Trek: the court ruled that even though the first season of Star Trek was watched by millions of people on broadcast television, it wasn't published until it was released on VHS tape! (see below)

I guess the worst that could happen is that the shows would be taken down when the corporation complains to the Archive?

Are you sure that the copies you have don't have copyright notices? (They could have been added later.)

Video-Cellar:

However, I also have 3 episodes [of Mannix] in exact copies of original network prints. There is no notice in the credits or under the Desilu logo on any of these episodes. The episodes are "The Pilot", "Nothing Ever Works Twice" and "The Cost of a Vacation". But, with the Desilu's Star Trek situation (no notices on the prints but a court decision finding that they had not been published before they were officially released on VHS with a notice and were therefore copyright), I am not sure that means anything.

Well, I will put up the extended pilot that no one saw, how's that? After the smoke clears, I'll put up more.

Good luck. Perhaps Video-Cellar will chime in.

I hope so. In a good way; if not, sigh I'll take it down.

Nothing to sigh about, after all, you already have the first season on DVD, right?

Incidentally, I believe there exists, stashed away somewhere, an even longer version of the pilot episode. As far as I know however, it's not available anywhere.
